What is Bell’s Palsy?

Bell’s Palsy is a condition that causes sudden weakness in the muscles on one side of the face. Some cases are temporary and improve over weeks, however, some cases may be long-term. This muscle weakness can make the affected side of the face appear to droop, causing smiles to be one-sided and the eye on the affected side does not easily close. This facial drooping can cause self-consciousness for those living with it. Botox injectors offer a safe solution for many facial weakness and paralysis patients, including those with Bell’s Palsy.

Though I’ve gotten botox on several occasions, this was my first time getting lip injections- I was nervous and excited. Recovery

There is no downtime required following Botox injections, so you can feel free to return to your regular activities. However, it is advised that you avoid strenuous exercise and intense heat exposure to the treatment area for 24 hours. Results last on average for 3-4 months.
